For this down jacket with its 90% down/10% feathers filling, the filling power is guaranteed to be 800 CUIN/30g or more (European standard). The fill power is a measure of the down’s thermal insulation capacity and its ability to "trap" air. Down with a higher filling power (a higher CUIN/30g number) takes up more space, trapping more air and providing greater thermal insulation.
