Suite à une étude de notre laboratoire de recherche sur le confort thermique des enfants, nous avons constaté qu'ils transpirent des pieds deux fois plus que les adultes en moyenne. C'est pourquoi, nous vous recommandons, pour leur confort, de les équiper de chaussettes qui diffusent la transpiration (aérées et synthétiques) pendant leur pratique sportive telle que l'athlétisme, et de toujours prévoir une paire de chaussettes propres qu'ils changeront après, pour limiter les odeurs désagréables

La teinture des chaussettes nécessite beaucoup d'eau et rejette également des eaux usées issues des bains de teinture.
